As a Chief Attorney in the employment law department of a large corporation in Chicago, Ms. Major was involved in handling a wide range of employment matters as an insider, including participating in decision making that affected executives at the highest levels. As a partner in the litigation department of a major Chicago law firm, Ms. Major represented Fortune 500 companies as outside counsel in employment matters including negotiations of employment agreements, enforcement of non-compete and non-solicitation agreements and litigation of employment discrimination claims. Ms. Major now applies the invaluable knowledge and experience she has acquired representing employers for the benefit of employees. Our firm understands both sides and uses that unique perspective to the advantage of our clients.
Ms. Major also has a background in business and finance that provides the firm with a strategic edge. Ms. Major received her B.S. in Finance with Honors from the University of Illinois (Champaign) and prior to attending law school worked as a Financial Information Specialist for a major Chicago bank. Ms. Major frequently applies her finance education and experience in employment matters, including in executive compensation matters and damage analysis.
